Anne and Luc Lauwers started Accountantsburo Lauwers in 1997 in Ronse. Besides holding a Master’s Degree in law, Anne is a graduate in Fiscal Sciences and worked for a number of years in a Big Four accounting firm. Her brother Luc holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economic Sciences and used to work for an internationally oriented SME.
In 2010, with the takeover of accountancy firm Simoens M. en Co, we acquired an office in Kortrijk. This took our team to 12 motivated employees.
In July 2017, together with accountancy firm Filip Voet, we opened a third office, in Ghent. Filip had taken over the business from his father, who in previous decades had built up a strong reputation in accounting and fiscal matters in the Ghent region.
At the start of 2018, we welcomed new partners Evelyne Dejonghe and Nikolaas De Clerck from accountancy firm Brivan & Co to consolidate and expand our Kortrijk office.
Since then, the Accountantsburo Lauwers group has consisted of 23 motivated team members.
